Foods Pet Birds Should Never Have
Not everything on your plate is safe for your bird’s dish. Here’s a list of common foods that can cause illness—or worse—in pet birds, even in small amounts.
- Acorns
- Alcohol
- Avocado
- Beans, uncooked
- caffeine
- Cassava (tapioca)
- Chocolate
- Citrus, small amounts if any
- Dairy products – their bodies cannot digest it properly
